Patchwork Green Farm

Bags are packed each week with 7-14 different fresh vegetables and herbs, cured storage vegetables and occasional cut flowers.  Your bag will include items that should be eaten within a few days (lettuce, peas, Brussels sprouts), some that will keep well for a week (tomatoes, basil, peppers), and some that will be good well into a second week (carrots, sweet potatoes, cabbage).  Both electronic and print versions of the Patchwork Green Farm Newsletter are available at each delivery, including recipes, farm happenings and descriptions of each item.

Can I Split a Share?

If the quantity of vegetables per week is daunting, we encourage you to split the share with a friend.  Partnering with a friend or neighbor can make the question of what to do with the produce when you are on summer vacation easier; you can regularly split the bounty so that you have the perfect quantity all season long; and you can trade peppers for eggplant to make your favorite casserole!

When are deliveries?

Traditional Delivery Shares are available this year in Decorah on Saturdays from 7:30 - 11:30 AM.  There will be a May 23 delivery, and bi-weekly deliveries June 20 to October 24.  We can pro-rate the cost if you will be gone for two or more deliveries in a row.  We will send a confirmation letter and a list of the delivery dates once we receive your payment.
